Terms of use
Last updated October 20, 2026
These terms cover your use of the Ayah app and this website. Your use of the app is also covered by Apple’sstandard licensed application end user licence agreement. By using Ayah, you agree to both.
Ayah Plus subscriptions
- Ayah Plus is an auto-renewing subscription: $3.99 a month, or $29.99 a year. Prices may vary by country and are shown in the app before you buy.
- The yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers. If you don’t cancel during the trial, the yearly price is charged when it ends.
- Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm the purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your iPhone’s Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Plus until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies. You can request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
The content
The English translation is Quran in English by Talal Itani, ClearQuran.com, used under the CC BY-ND 4.0 licence. We quote it word for word. The Arabic text is the Uthmani script via Tanzil and the Noble Qur’an Encyclopedia.
The context, plain-language explanations and reflection questions are written by Ayah to help you think about each verse. They are not tafsir, religious rulings or a substitute for a qualified teacher.
Using Ayah
Ayah is for your personal, non-commercial use. Please don’t copy, resell or redistribute the app or the reflections we wrote. The Quran translation itself may be shared under its own licence above.
No warranty
We work hard to keep Ayah accurate and running, but the app and website are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Ayah.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page.
